This past weekend, I participated in Boston Shines, a program to brighten up the cultural and environmental quality of Boston's city streets. To do my part, I have painted an electrical box with an urban city scene. I just came up with a title at this moment: Peace and Love, Peace and Love, Acrylic, India Ink - Varnished on Steel Utility Box, approx. 6'x2'x3.5'.
The following series of photos shows the process from the very first brush stroke until the finished product. It was painted from Friday, April 24th-Saturday, April 25th.
The box is located at the intersection of Western Ave and North Harvard Ave, near Harvard Stadium and across the street from Seven Eleven. Come check it out!
Here are some things I have done recently. I'll give you a little taste. Some of them are unfinished, but I don't care. I'm getting ready for the 3 shows I have coming up:
Easter Bunny Decadence, Out Of The Blue Gallery, Cambridge, Opening is April 24th
Robot Demographics, Out Of The Blue Gallery, Cambridge, Opening is April 25th
